Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began at 14 years old. After a kickboxing training session, wrestling BJJ and BJJ she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and began a 3 fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents in the opening round in all the fights. After that, she went to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen initially defeated Silvia Babyghian, before heading to face Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9, where she faced Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen with a majority vote. The loss put a mark on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd bounced back from the defeat, and won Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record to 8-1. Aspen started her professional career in 2015, signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta Combat Championships 16, She won her next bout with Amanda Cooper through a second-round Armbar submission. Aspen utilized her formidable grappling skills to defeat McGill and ended her via third-round TKO(elbows and punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) as an "catchweight"(138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd did not make the weight. Aspen, however, beat Hoy through TKO. As for her final fight for the promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks via unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She was a step ahead of Lina and pounded her with a ground-and-pound in the second round to secure a TKO victory. She continued to dominate and scored a more impressive win when she fought Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the first round. The winner also got the reward for her performance on the night. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos Anjos-Lee fight with Eubanks of Sijara, was her first fight that she's ever had in any significant capacity. Both fighters fought a close fight that Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. Both fighters received their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya after the third round in UFC on ESPN 7. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. She lost by unanimous decision.
